NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed Bids with all required documents will be received at Souderton Borough, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania for “Residential Solid Waste and Recyclable Collection” from all residential and municipal properties within Souderton Borough. Requests for proposals and specifications may be found online at https://www.soudertonborough.org/.
Sealed Bids shall be received in person or by mail at the Souderton Borough Municipal Building c/o Sara Jarrett-Eaton, Borough Manager, 31 W Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, until 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, July 10, 2026 where they will be publicly opened and read at the Souderton Borough Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 31 W Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964.
All bids must be received by 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Friday, July 10, 2026 to be considered. Bids must be submitted in accordance with all Bid Package requirements, as set forth in the Request for Proposal, detailed specifications, and bid documents. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid, made payable to Souderton Borough, along with a Surety’s Consent. The successful bidder must furnish each municipality a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the amount of the Contract within twenty (20) days after the Contract is awarded.
A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Souderton Municipal Building, 31 West Summit Street, Souderton, Pennsylvania for review of the specification and bid documents and discussions on bidder questions and responses. All bidders must attend. Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes will be prepared and provided to all attendees. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the bid proposal.
