Meet your Borough Manager!

Meet your Borough Manager, Sara Jarrett-Eaton! Sara serves as Souderton’s fifth Borough Manager in its history and the second woman to hold the position. She joined the staff in April of 2024 when she was hired as the Finance Director. Later that same month, she transitioned into the role of Acting Borough Manager and Finance Director. In August of 2024, she was appointed at Borough Manager, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Sara started her involvement in municipal government as a child, tagging along with her father to Borough Hall when he was a councilman. Since then, she has worked as an intern in Newville Borough, the Borough Secretary and Treasurer in Mount Holly Springs Borough, and Assistant Borough Manager in Emmaus Borough. Sara comes from a long line of public servants with her grandfather serving as a councilman and working as a Borough Secretary, her father serving as a councilman and working as Borough Manager, and her uncle working as a Borough Manager.

Sara is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in Public Administration with a minor in Technical and Professional Communications. She is currently enrolled at Cedar Crest College in their Master's in Business Administration program with an anticipated completion in 2026.

Sara currently resides in Quakertown with her husband, Jordan, and their dog, Dinosaur. In her spare time, she can be found spending quality time with Dinosaur or engaged in a shenanigan of some sort!
