The Rotary Park is a gathering place for many activities throughout the seasons, with thousands of visitors to the park each year, a place where many residents can create memories and celebrate family reunions, birthday parties, picnics and special events. Families enjoy spending the day at the Rotary Park, while taking advantage of the amenities the park has to offer:
- The Pavilion in the Rotary Park can be reserved for events from March through November. Please contact the Borough Office for availability and information.
- During the spring and summer months, many of our borough's organizations and community members enjoy the ball field, along with the walking path, park benches and picnic tables, as well as swing sets, playground equipment and a sandbox for children to enjoy. The park's restrooms are open from the late spring through the fall season. These are located on Wile Avenue, at the ramp side entrance by the Park-Side Cafe. Port-a-potties are placed by the Main Street parking lot. Many waste cans and doggie bag stations are placed throughout the park.
- Located across the street, The Souderton Community Pool offers both seasonal and daily passes. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, the Pool-Side Cafe and the Park-Side Cafe offer both a lunch & dinner menu, as well as beverage and snack items, including hand-dipped ice cream. The Park-Side Cafe is accessible from the Wile Avenue entrance ramp. If you are enjoying a day in the park, take a walk along the path or take a bike ride.
- Beginning each June and continuing every Sunday through the beginning of August, "Concert Sundaes in the Park" features various musical concerts and programs geared for people of all ages. These free concerts start at 7 p.m. Each week a different community service club sells ice cream! Program booklets are available at the Borough Office. (In the case of inclement weather, the scheduled event is held in the auditorium of the Indian Crest Middle School, 139 Harleysville Pike Rt. 113).
By 2019, groundbreaking began. Over the next six years, under the Souderton-Telford Rotary Club President Leon Moyer and a dedicated project committee of Rotarians, Borough representatives, Concert Sundaes volunteers, and community leaders, plans became action and the Park transformed. Thanks to the borough's Public Works Department, the Rotary Park annually receives a fresh look.
