Applications are being accepted for the position of police officer in the Borough of Souderton. An application form may be obtained at the Borough Office, 31 W. Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. All applicants must be a citizen of the United States, and a high school graduate (or GED equivalent), 21 years of age, and in good physical condition.

Current Act 120 Certification is required.

Applicant will not have any visible markings, tattoos or piercings where piercing studs cannot be removed for on-duty appearance. Tattoos or markings will only be permitted if fully covered by the duty uniform. Minimum starting salary is $48,447 for the inexperienced recruit. Experienced officers MAY be liable to start at a higher wage. Souderton Police Department offers an excellent salary structure, retirement plan, medical and dental insurance, and a sound fringe benefit package. Completed applications and a non-refundable payment of $35.00 fee for testing (payable to Souderton Police) must be filed at the Borough Office not later than 4:30 p.m. on
