The longest running member of Souderton Borough Council, John Young has deep roots in the community. He and his wife raised 5 children in the borough, who, like him, are Souderton Area High School alumni. John is actively involved in groups working to better the community, such as the Indian Valley Regional Planning Commission. He also volunteers his time and talents to Zion Mennonite Church and the Zion Mennonite Gardens.
